My Vytek laser system went down 3 weeks ago and I was not able to get it back up and running this time, so I purchased a new system. Everything is good now. I'm back in production mode and fulfilling orders once again but I am behind 1, maybe 2 weeks on my turnaround time for new orders. I'll be working weekends and longer hours to shorten your wait time.

As you may or may not know my laser system went down and I could not get it back to operational this time so I purchased a new system which is in my studio and set up. I expected to be fully trained by the manufacturer last Thursday and be in production by Friday but that didn't happen. I received the balance of my training on Tuesday 5/4 only to find out there are software issues that the manufacturer and I must work through. It has been one thing after another but we are making progress and getting closer to production, one step at a time. I can still produce proofs. It is the laser etching part that is delayed. I know that you are frustrated by the wait, you have every right to be. I'm frustrated too. I apologize, I'm doing the best I can to get orders completed and get back in business. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The setup of the new APLazer is complete. I receive training on Thursday. I expect to be back in production Thursday night!
The old vytek system has been replaced. I couldn't fix it this time. Too much change in technology so I purchased a new system that has already been received. Setup should be completed today. Thank you all for hanging in there with me. I will be in production soon.
Work to get my laser system back up and running continues.
When the laser goes down and production stops it's a difficult time for everyone. I know you've lost a dear friend and need to put this part of the grieving process behind you. I am truly sorry to keep you waiting but I will get things running again and you will have your memorial to enjoy for a lifetime. Please continue to hang in there with me. The computer that runs my Vytek FX laser system was brought back to life. Today I need to determine what is operational and what isn't, then load the necessary software and peripheral systems and sync the computer to the laser. I am optimistic.
FYI... a unique operating system is required to run the Vytek FX Laser so I can't just go out and buy a new computer, I wish I could. I purchased two backup computers a few years ago for just this reason however turns out both backup units have unexpected memory issues and will not work. Uugh!
